The Cyclades are an archipelago of about 220 islands including Naxos, Paros, Milos, Santorini, Mykonos and Syros. Milos and Santorini are volcanic, shaping much of the underwater terrain of caves, tunnels and arches. Paros and Antiparos offer caverns and a WWII 'Beaufighter' wreck; Naxos has its own Bristol Beaufighter wreck (shot down 1943, rediscovered 2007) at 34 metres.
