Ios Wreck

Also known as: Ios Shipwreck

PADI reports that the boat was wrecked on the rocks about fifty years ago, while Wannadive says its history is unknown. The bow section rises from the bottom at around 12 to 13 m, with the anchor, chain and other debris scattered around it. A five to ten minute swim north leads to a flat-lying section of the hull, where crustaceans often hide underneath. PADI also mentions small caves near the shore. Boat traffic at the port entrance is the main hazard.
