Drionisi

Also known as: Dryonisi · Drionisi Classic · Drionisi South · Drionissi South

Dryonisi is a small islet about five minutes by boat from the Paros Divers base. Its south side stays flat and protected when the meltemi makes other sites rough, and there is usually no current. The rock here is sharper and more jagged than elsewhere around Paros and gives way to wide Posidonia meadows. Scorpionfish, octopus and scattered amphorae are typical finds.
