Prasonisi
Prasonisi is a little island about ten minutes by boat from the Paros dive centres, and the usual plan is to swim all the way around it, starting on the south-west side. Sand, rock and patches of Posidonia give way to a black and red rocky wall with small overhangs. Soft corals, sponges and anemones cover the rock, and damselfish are everywhere. Schools of amberjacks pass at times, and the current is usually light.
