A page that says what kind of diver you are
Your public profile brings together your dive statistics, the certifications you want to show and the dive centres you stand behind. It is switched off by default — whether it exists at all is your decision.
What a public profile shows
As much as you want
Display name, picture and the details you fill in. Every field is voluntary, and nothing appears that you have not entered.
Training you release
Certifications are marked for the public profile one by one. Whatever is not marked stays private.
The centres behind you
Your profile shows which dive centres you own, work for or are a fan of — the visible side of the support you give them.
Someone who can be found
Anyone who wants to add you as a buddy looks at your profile first. The profile is that page.

Fill in what fits
Every completed field is worth points, and points are what unlocks the rest.
Switch it on
The public profile stays off until you turn it on. Until then nothing of yours is public.
Choose your address
From 100 points you set the web address of your profile yourself instead of using the generated one.
Points make the profile yours
Completed profile fields, a profile picture, maintained certifications, logged dives, the countries you have dived in — all of them count. The public profile itself is worth points as soon as you enable it.
And your dive centre gets its share
Become a fan of a centre and ten per cent of your total is added to its score. So everything you do on your own profile also counts for the centre you dive with.
Nothing from your profile becomes public without you switching it on.
Questions about public profiles
Is there a directory of all divers?
No. A public profile is a decision each diver makes for themselves. A list of everybody would not be that decision, so there is none.
Can I switch my profile off again?
Yes, at any time. The page is then no longer delivered publicly.
Are my dives visible on the profile?
Your logbook entries themselves stay private. What the profile shows is the statistics derived from them — number of dives, bottom time and the like.
What does my e-mail address have to do with it?
Nothing visible. The profile is reached through its own web address, never through your e-mail.
