Dive centres

The dive centre you trust, with a page of its own

Dive centres worldwide are listed here with their services, their dive sites and the people who work there. You can read all of it without an account — and once you have one, you can back the centres you actually dive with.

What a dive centre page gives you

Profile

Everything in one place

Address, how to reach them, the languages spoken, the courses on offer and the dive sites a centre works with — on one page instead of scattered across five channels.

Courses

Training you can compare

Centres state which training organisations they teach for. If you want a particular one, you can see at a glance who offers it.

Fan

One click to follow

Becoming a fan of a centre takes one click on its page. It can be undone just as quickly, and the centre sees that someone is behind it.

Support

Your points count for them

As a fan you pass a share of your own points on to the centre. Yours stay with you in full — the centre is simply counted for having you.

From reading to backing a centre

Step 1

Find the centre

Search by name, place or country. Every centre has a permanent address of its own that you can pass on.

Step 2

Create an account

An account is free and needs an e-mail address. It is what turns reading into taking part.

Step 3

Become a fan

One click on the centre's page. From then on a share of the points you collect is counted towards that centre.

Points for what you do anyway

Logging dives, filling in your profile, keeping your certifications current, adding the countries you have dived — each of these is worth points. Nothing here has to be bought; points come from use.

And a share goes to your centre

Every centre you are a fan of receives ten per cent of your point total in its own score. If you are listed at a centre as a professional it is thirty per cent, as an admin fifty, as the owner the full amount. Your own total never shrinks in the process.

From 100 points you can choose the web address of your public profile yourself.

Questions about dive centres

Do I need an account to read a centre's page?

No. Every public dive centre page can be read without signing in. An account is only needed to become a fan or to manage a centre.

My centre is listed but nobody maintains it. What now?

The page can be claimed. Whoever runs the centre can take it over and edit it from then on.

Does being a fan cost anything?

No. Being a fan is free and can be undone at any time. It costs you no points either — the centre's share is calculated on top.

Can I be a fan of more than one centre?

Yes. Many divers dive at home and on holiday. Every centre you follow is counted separately.
