Africa Wreck

Also known as: Shipwreck named Africa · Africa

The vessel Africa went down near the famous beach of Sarakiniko on Milos, known for its moon-like terrain. Over the years the currents have pushed what is left of the ship, which was more than 90 m long, close to the shore. The scattered remains now lie in only about ten metres of water and attract Mediterranean marine life. Dive in Milos runs it as a shore dive, and Scuba Diving magazine describes swimming out to the wreck from Sarakiniko.
