Mansell Reef

Also known as: Mansel Reef

Mansell Reef lies out in the open sea, roughly twenty minutes from the Akrotiri dive station. The reef top is shallow, reaching to about 3 m, while its edge forms a wall that falls to around 200 m. This contrast between the shallow plateau and the blue drop-off is the main appeal of the site. Small seahorses live in the growth on the reef, and large fish rise from the deep and disappear again.
