Diving in Mauritius

Mauritius is enclosed by many attractive, colorful coral reef and similarly vibrant (and rich!) aquatic life. There are also more than 100 ship wrecks to explore! One of the most renowned dive sites in Mauritius is the Cathedral whose sheer drop-offs form distinctive underwater arches and caves. Divers know they’re in for some spectacular underwater scenery when they hear the name of this much-loved Mauritian dive site. The light that filters through the numerous cracks and crevices of the huge cavern really makes this feel like a visit to a renowned, thrilling, cathedral. Other famous dive sites include Whale Rock, Roche Zozo, and the Ile Ronde submerged crater.
