Silver Star

Also known as: Silver Star Wreck · Silverstar

Pro Dive places the wreck in front of the Royal Palm hotel and notes that it still has its propeller. Until cyclone Dina in January 2002 its mast was covered in soft corals; Blue Water reports the corals are growing back but are not as they were. Batfish, barracuda, kingfish, stingrays, eagle rays and guitar sharks on the sand are mentioned by the dive centres, and Blue Water adds a pair of well-camouflaged frogfish. Several openings allow penetration for divers trained for it.
