Big Rock

The site offers a deeper route to about 26 to 30 m and a shallower one to about 20 m, so qualified divers of any level can do it. Fish hang over the steep wall waiting for food carried by the current. With a slight north to south current, local guides call it one of the best dives of Mauritius, while without current it is only average. Eagle rays drift past in current, and a resident turtle shelters here. It is often combined with Aquarium in a single drift.
