Djabeda
Also known as: Djabeda Wreck · Jabeda wreck
The wreck lies within swimming distance of Confetti Bay, so a dive can end on the shallow reef there. Schools of blue-striped snappers shelter inside and fusiliers swirl around it, while dogtooth tuna, jacks, red snappers and rays patrol nearby. My Base reports a group of 15 to 20 whiprays gathering here every year. The structure has deteriorated and My Base no longer considers it safe to enter. Currents can be strong enough that the dive has to be cancelled.
