Gota Abu Nugar
Also known as: Gotta Abu Nugar
Gota Abu Nugar is one of the dive spots around the T-shaped Abu Nugar reef, between the main reef and the scattered ergs of Shaab Iris. Larger and smaller coral blocks stand on the sand flat that surrounds the reef. The area is sheltered once boats arrive, and current is usually mild. Divers find shallow, little-disturbed hard coral and plenty of reef fish.
