Pietra del Bagno

Boats moor on the south side of the rock, where the bottom rises to about 14 m. The vertical walls are covered in Astroides, sponges and algae from the first metres, and lower down they give way to piles of almost cubic boulders with spirographs, crinoids and gorgonians. This boulder field is prime grouper habitat, and lobsters, slipper lobsters, octopus and moray eels hide between the blocks. Amberjacks and dentex can pass on the seaward side. A small cave with its entrance at about 2 m opens on the north side and can be visited during the ascent.
