Capo Grosso
Capo Grosso juts out to sea like a bastion, and its wall is vertical everywhere, without a ledge to rest on. Within a few fin kicks divers hang in open water in front of the cliff. The rock is a mix of colours from Leptopsammia and Astroides corals, zoanthids, spirographs, clavelinas and anemones, with many parrotfish around. Cracks hold moray eels, groupers, scorpionfish, octopus and melon urchins. The most striking feature is a ramp in the wall entirely carpeted with Astroides.
