Cresta dei 18

The crest rises from a seabed of about 48 m to a cap at 18 m and is barely visible from the surface. The dive circles the shoal and explores the dens and recesses at its foot, where groupers, moray eels, conger eels, forkbeards and large scorpionfish live. Yellow gorgonians and lush algae and bryozoans cover the walls on the way up. On the cap thousands of damselfish swim in the current while amberjacks and jacks pass in the blue. Because it lies far from the coast it is little known.
