Capo Grillo
The dive follows a ridge that runs down from the volcano into the sea and forms a low wall along the way. At 18 m a small cave can be entered, its ceiling crowded with tiny red shrimps. Further along the ridge another crack at about 41 m is wrapped in anthias and holds forkbeard and many more shrimps. Encrusting sponges, starfish, nudibranchs of many kinds, lobsters and moray eels make it a favourite of macro photographers.
