The entry point lies between two hotels on the shore of Vulcanello facing the channel to Lipari. A wide plateau between 3 and 10 m is covered with small rocks and patches of Posidonia. Heading towards Lipari, divers reach a steep slope that starts as a scree of small stones between 10 and 20 m. Below that the boulders grow much larger, and between 35 and 45 m they form an impressive landscape. SalinaLive advises diving it only in good sea conditions.
