Eagles Nest
Eagles Nest lies near the far west end of the island and takes its name from the bald eagles nesting on the cliff top, which can be watched on a live webcam. Dive centres compare it with Iron Bound Cove, a sheltered cove with kelp and large rocks sloping to sand. Healthy giant kelp dominates the site, with schools of mackerel and surfperch and kelpfish among the fronds. Harbor seals often approach divers, and giant sea bass, bat rays and market squid runs have also been reported.
