Black Rock

Also known as: Black Point

The site is actually Black Point at the west end of the island. On its inner eastern side big rocks and kelp slope gradually to sand at about 18 m, with sea lions, harbor seals, sheephead and lobsters. The point itself is very rocky, with large crevices, ledges, walls and gorgonians, and drops abruptly to about 30 m. Dive operators recommend it for photographers and hunters.
