Sental
Sental lies on the reef that runs along the north coast of Nusa Penida, between Ped and Pura Mas Gading. Dives usually start on a broad coral plateau at roughly 7 to 18 m and continue down a slightly steeper slope than at the neighbouring sites. The current varies from gentle to strong, so guides choose the entry point and let divers drift along the reef. Schools of fusiliers, groupers and butterflyfish gather on the slope, and tuna, barracuda, eagle rays and Mola Mola are possible out in the blue. The shallower reef at the end of the dive is a good place to search for nudibranchs, frogfish and mantis shrimp.
