Secca del Bagno
La Gorgonia counts this shoal among the finest dives of the whole archipelago, but notes that it is not easy to locate. Three submerged stacks rise from the bottom, the best of them topping out around 22 m. Their walls are dense with red gorgonians and orange sponges, and clouds of anthias surround them. Big groupers shelter in the boulders at the foot, and amberjacks can pass during the decompression stops. The seabed here also yielded archaeological finds, including a volcanic-stone millstone now in the Lipari museum.
