Secca delle Formiche
Close to the Formiche boulders, a rock formation shaped like an upturned cone rises from a sandy bottom at about 30 m. One centre describes it as two rocks reaching up to 10 m below the surface. Boats moor on the top, and the dive circles the rock from the bottom up. Sponges and starfish colour the walls, while moray eels, conger eels, lobsters, scorpionfish, groupers, octopus, parrotfish and white seabream live in the cracks. La Gorgonia calls it an easy-going, relaxing site with rich fauna.
