Scoglio dei Monaci
The descent runs perpendicular to the shore down a natural gully, which ends abruptly at the edge of a vertical drop. Divers follow the overhanging wall at around 35 m past fine red gorgonian fans. The rock is jagged and riddled with holes that house lobsters, forkbeard and groupers. Both La Gorgonia and eolie.eu single it out as one of the most striking dives in Lipari's waters for its underwater relief.
