Punta Tre Pietre
Also known as: Tre Pietre
Three rocks just awash mark the start, and divers follow a submarine ridge covered in clavelinas, spirographs, sponges and orange Astroides. Cracks along the crest hold scorpionfish, moray eels, conger eels and brown meagre. Around 18 m the ridge meets a sand bank with tube anemones and starfish. The goal is a rock pyramid at the end of the ridge, rising from just under 40 m to about 20 m, with yellow gorgonians on its current-swept outer face and a remarkably large Cerianthus on the sand nearby. A deeper variant reaches 42 m, with large sponges, lobsters and slipper lobsters.
