Cherry Cove

The diving is on the rocky point off the south side of Cherry Cove, a mooring area on the west side of Isthmus Cove. The water inside is usually calm and protected, and the reef descends from kelp-covered shallows to deeper bull kelp. Leopard sharks, moray eels, perch, octopus and giant sea bass are reported, along with lobsters in season. Boat traffic in the busy cove is the main hazard.
