Keystone Jetty
Également connu sous le nom de : Keystone Underwater Park
Above water the jetty is a sloping boulder pile about 150 ft long, and underwater it extends about twice as far. The densest invertebrate life is on the deeper rocks, and spots that PNW Diving calls the Rocks of Life hold warbonnets, scalyhead sculpins, giant barnacles with nudibranchs and orange tunicates. Giant Pacific octopus, lingcod, greenling, wolf eels and copper, quillback and brown rockfish are typical. Keystone Jetty is dived only at slack before flood, with a low exchange, and south winds can make the entry dangerous. The ferry side of the jetty is off limits, while the park offers parking, restrooms and showers; a Discover Pass is needed.
