Snoopy Deep Reef
Snoopy Deep Reef lies roughly half a kilometre seaward of Snoopy Island off Al Aqah. A small dive boat and its trailer were sunk here on purpose as an artificial reef, and the metal is now covered in hard and soft corals. The structure sits beside natural reef, so one dive covers both habitats. The bottom lies at around 24 m, which is why operators ask for Advanced Open Water certification. Seahorses, anemones, five-lined snappers and triggerfish are among the life reported here.
