Dibba Rock
Dibba Rock is a small island just off the Dibba coast that Freestyle Divers calls the oldest marine protected area in the UAE, closed to fishing for more than 15 years. Hard and soft corals circle the island, with the deeper sections on the east side and shallower water to the north, south and west. Green turtles are the signature encounter, joined by moray eels, cuttlefish and large schools of snapper, fusiliers and barracuda, while blacktip reef sharks hunt in the deeper water. At high tide divers can circle the whole island in one dive. Easy navigation and active night life make it a popular night dive.
