Parsons Landing

Also known as: Parson's Landing

Parsons Landing is a remote beach cove near the west end of Catalina's front side. Underwater, boulders the size of cars or larger lie on sand, creating crevices and small cavern-like gaps. A lush, healthy kelp forest holds many fish, including sheephead, calico and kelp bass, and gorgonians grow on the rocks. The shallow, calm water is also very good for snorkelling, though a north wind can make it rough.
