Angelika Wreck
Also known as: Angelika · Relitto dell'Angelica · Relitto de l'Angelica · Relitti Angelica
The ship was pushed onto the Marmorata shallows by a storm in the Strait of Bonifacio and broke apart, and its sections now rest a few tens of metres from each other. Most of the interesting remains lie at about 12 m, including the bridge, which can be entered with care. A large bronze propeller is one of the most striking features. Cargo booms, winches and twisted plates make it a good first wreck dive and a photogenic one. Brown meagre usually live in the wreck, and a strong thermocline is common. Pianeta Alghero notes that ceramics from several centuries on the bottom show how dangerous this passage has always been for ships.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
