Il Fiordino
Also known as: Fiordino
The site takes its name from a small, deep fjord-like cut in the pink granite of Punta Coticcio, which serves as anchorage and entry point. A slope of boulders leads down to around 18 to 20 m, where octopuses and moray eels live, and the bottom then drops towards white sand at about 40 m. A small wall in front of the inlet is covered in the green alga Halimeda tuna and suits macro photography. Large spider crabs move up into the algae in March and April. Orso Diving describes a second route across rocky ridges at 25 to 30 m that ends in a deep canyon, and the remains of two Roman iron anchors on the sand.
