Cala Inglese
Local legend says Admiral Nelson anchored his fleet in this cove, which gave it its name. The dive became widely known through a National Geographic Italia photo of a diver next to a rock shaped like a face, which is where the route begins. From there it winds north through a maze of boulders, canyons and landslides until the shoal edge drops steeply to about 35 to 40 m. Large dusky groupers and sizeable schools of brown meagre are very common, and slipper lobsters shelter around the face rock. The cove is protected from the prevailing winds and usually has no current.
