Sea Fan Grotto
Also known as: White Rocks · Blue Grotto Cavern
Huge slabs of cliff broke away here long ago and settled on the slope, and some still protrude from the water, white with bird droppings. Underwater one slab rests on boulders to form a cavern at about 8 m that holds two or three divers. Gorgonians hang from its ceiling and frame the view out to the kelp forest, a classic wide-angle shot. At the back a vertical chimney rises to about 3 m and can be used as an exit. The surrounding reef continues down the slope, but most of the interest lies above 12 m.
