Yellow Wall
Yellow Wall takes its name from the golden tube corals (Tubastraea faulkneri) and small yellow soft corals that coat the reef face on the south-east side of Peleliu. Boats usually drop divers near the northern end of Honeymoon Beach, and the drift runs south towards Peleliu Express. The wall has crevices, arches and small caverns, and turtles are sometimes seen feeding on the tube corals. Sweetlips, emperors, groupers, pyramid butterflyfish, red-toothed triggerfish and schools of jacks and snappers live along the edge, while grey reef sharks, eagle rays, barracuda and tuna pass by when the current runs. If the current is too strong, divers can stay on the coral gardens of the reef top.
