Honeymoon Beach

Honeymoon Beach lies on the eastern side of Peleliu, about an hour by speedboat from Koror. The reef is a moderate coral slope with deep crevices that meets a sandy bottom at about 20 m, with large coral heads sheltering fish. Its draw is small life: nudibranchs, many kinds of shrimp and other macro critters make it a favourite with photographers. Turtles and plenty of reef fish are also reported. It is dived as a drift, either shallow or deep, and visibility is often very good.
