Peleliu Express
Also known as: Peleliu Expressway
Peleliu Express runs along a vertical wall near the southern end of Peleliu, where incoming tides flow to the north-east and outgoing tides to the south-west, which gives the site its name. Divers drop in front of a sandy lagoon near a Japanese WWII monument, cross the reef top with its canyons and crevices, and then fly along the wall at around 23 to 26 m before rising onto the plateau near Peleliu Corner. Grey reef sharks, barracuda, tuna, rays, turtles, giant groupers and Napoleon wrasse are regular sightings, and schools of oriental sweetlips and rainbow runners stay on the reef. Whale sharks, marlin, sailfish and whales have been seen, but currents above 4 knots and down currents near the corner make it a dive for experienced divers only.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
