Erg Sabina
Also known as: Erg Sabrina · Erg Sabena
Fire-coral gardens spread to the east and west of the little reef, and its west side is especially well overgrown. Around 40 m to the north stands a separate coral block packed with glassfish, which attracts turtles and eagle rays, particularly in the morning. A white sand patch on the west side is home to a large school of goatfish. Big pufferfish, Arabian and emperor angelfish, nudibranchs and lobsters are among the regular finds. The water is usually calm at the surface, but the current in the strait can be strong.
