The Cathedral

Divers usually enter the main chamber through a narrow gap called Devil's Throat. Inside, beams of light fall through the windows of the dome, which gives the site its name. Thousands of glassy sweepers fill the cave, and schools of tarpon, snappers and parrotfish pass by in season. Sand channels between the reef walls lead past overhangs and crevices where crabs and lobsters hide. A memorial is found at the cavern exit.
