Tarpon Hole

The mooring buoy was placed in 2013, making it one of the newer sites on the island. Small channels let divers weave across, beneath and through the reef. Tarpon up to about 7 ft long can school here by the dozen, while jacks and big snappers move through the arches. Strong swimmers have reached it from Elbow Beach, but it is normally dived from a boat.
