Minnie Breslauer
She was bound for New York with wine, dried fruit, cork and lead ingots when she ran onto the reef. Today the bow is broken up across the reef while the stern rests more intact on sand in deeper water. The large boiler, steering quadrant, rudder and a four-bladed propeller are still easy to recognise, and divers can swim along beneath the stern section. Bermuda 100 notes a piece of black coral at the stern, the only one known at such shallow depth in Bermuda. Dive operators visit the wreck often in summer.
