Rita Zovetta

Built in Glasgow as a tanker and later converted to dry cargo, she lost her way in bad weather while following a pilot boat. Her crew got ashore and most of the ore was salvaged before she sank. Today a wide debris field holds the propeller shaft, engine, boilers and winches. The stern is largely intact and the propeller is wedged into the reef. Several swim-throughs and plenty of reef fish make the wreck popular with photographers.
