Iristo

Also known as: Aristo

Her captain had no local charts and mistook the wrecked liner for a moving ship, so he altered course and struck the reef near North Rock. A tug pulled her free, but she flooded and went down east of the North East Breaker. Her cargo included a fire engine, still recognisable under thick coral growth. The engine, boilers, propeller and two anchors are also visible. Chub, horse-eye jacks and octopus are seen around the wreck.
