Nailaka

The wall around Nailaka is covered in leather corals, yellow soft corals, table corals and large barrel sponges, some of them sheltering moray eels. Redtooth triggerfish and yellow chromis crowd the reef, and where the current hits the point, thousands of bluedash fusiliers are chased by unicornfish, rainbow runners and giant trevallies. A large group of bumphead parrotfish has been reported here. Day boats from Banda Neira need about two hours to reach Run and Nailaka, and divers often take their lunch break on Nailaka's white sand beach.
