Pura Mas Gading

Also known as: PmG · Pura Masgading

Pura Mas Gading sits between the better known sites Buyuk and Sental on the north coast of Nusa Penida. Its name comes from a little temple on a rock that stands in the water at high tide, which Scuba Center Asia compares to a miniature Tanah Lot. Underwater the reef slopes like its neighbours, with barrel sponges and coral bommies, and it is usually dived as a drift. Schools of redtooth triggerfish, fusiliers and butterflyfish feed in the current, while turtles and rays are regular visitors. Mola Mola are reported here often, according to Scuba Center Asia even outside the main season.
