Ghost Bay

Also known as: Amed Ghost Bay

The name goes back to AquaMarine's director of diving operations, who saw many ornate ghost pipefish on his first dive here. The bottom changes from gentle to steep slopes, flat sand and patches of coral, with pieces of artificial reef placed by a local dive company. Stonefish and moray eels live on the artificial reef, while the slopes host mimic octopus, wonderpus, several kinds of frogfish and seahorses. Deeper, whitetip reef sharks rest and batfish, bannerfish and bumphead parrotfish pass by.
