Bunutan
Also known as: Bunutan Point · Bunutan Wall
The dive begins on a gentle sand slope with nudibranchs and a large colony of garden eels at around 12 m. The current then carries divers to a corner where snapper and fusiliers school and sharks and trevally often patrol, especially below 20 m. Barrel sponges, sea fans and coral bommies with gorgonians decorate the reef, and blue-spotted rays and chevron barracuda are regular. Currents can be strong, so in the dry season AquaMarine plans the dive around high tide. The dive usually ends in the protected shallows.
