Le Punte
Off the beach of the same name the seabed forms a step from about 8 to 18 m and a wall rich in recesses that ends at about 25 m. Schools of sharpsnout and two-banded seabream, black seabream and saddled seabream swim along it, and large golden groupers and barracuda are often seen in the blue. From the foot of the wall a slope of big boulders and slabs leads deeper, where white and yellow gorgonians grow and dentex and amberjacks hunt damselfish. Under certain current and thermocline conditions Filicudi Divers compares it with the famous marine parks of the Mediterranean.
