Cars are not allowed on the shore road east of Urfeld, so divers haul their kit about 1.2 km on carts or rent a pedal boat to reach the entry near a memorial plaque and a bench. Right after the entry a wall drops to about 20 m, and divers either follow it or head down over rock steps and tree trunks. Just beyond 40 m in winter an old VW Beetle rests on the slope, and from there a field of old munitions leads back up, which must only be looked at, never touched. Char can be seen over the scree in autumn, pike stand between the trunks and burbot hide under stones. Because it is far from help, the site is meant for experienced divers.
