After a descent in open water to a sandy plateau at about 20 m, the route heads to a wall that drops towards 50 m and is covered with red gorgonians, with lobster antennae poking out of the cracks. Eagle rays and big dentex are regular companions along the way. The Christ image stands on a plateau in front of a wall encrusted with yellow sponges and gorgonians. Because the statue lies at around 40 m, guides keep a close eye on bottom time before returning to the Scoglietto wall for the safety stop among groupers and forkbeards.
